Accessibility
We want hostily Captcha and this website to be usable by as many people as possible. This is a self-assessment; there has been no external audit or certification so far.
What we have implemented
- No image puzzle and no time-critical task for visitors: the browser solves the computational task.
- The widget checkbox is a real control (
buttonwith checkbox role), operable by keyboard (Tab, Space, Enter), with a visible focus ring. - Status messages are in a
role="status"region; errors are marked as such. - Colour contrast in the widget of at least 4.5:1; respects “reduce motion”; light and dark follow the system.
- This website: semantic HTML, skip link, keyboard operation, visible focus, system font with adjustable size, layout from about 320 px width without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- Without JavaScript the widget cannot create a token.
- Testing with screen readers and coverage of all WCAG criteria are not fully documented yet. Before publication, review the state and add a conformance statement if appropriate.
